Great shooting and real nice Pro SW...
Thanks man. I'm getting really impressed by how accurate these Ruger's are...may be tempted to dip my toes in an amateur bullseye leagueNice shooting dude!
flipping through looking for a bit of inspiration today. nice gun, sounds like a fun class.Daniel Defense DDMv7 for a “intro to AR” class. Flawless through 4 hours, 250 rounds, never loading a mag with more than 3 rounds. So yes, by the end of the evening our mag changes had improved significantly from the start of class !
Of the 6 rifles on the firing line, 2 went down with gummed up firing pins / BCG’s. Just because some YouTuber says AR’s can run dirty and dry, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t clean and lube your weapon.

I love having my RMR on my P-01, nothing helps more with my older eyes than a dot.Put the first 250 rounds through my DVC Carry today. 10, 15 & 20 yards. Freedom Munitions ProMatch 135 & 124 grain XAP. In the first 25 rounds I had 2 failure to feeds, 1 stovepipe and it failed to lock open when empty on the first 2 mags. The next 225 rounds were flawless and after the first 2 mags they all locked open when empty as expected.

No doubt!
Use of 9mm PCC as training tool..........
Our local dufus range is experiencing anti 2A pressure.
Mo-Rons are encroaching and building homes at the perimeters of the range that's been there for 50+ yrs.- then getting indignant that there's "gunfire and Hi=Powered rifles, even ASSAULT rifles"....
While this is inevitable, it truly sucks.
(While we still have the "ranch" property, it's 3 hrs. min. travel time- excluding course set up)
I have begun using the AR9 platform frequently, in lieu of a 5.56 gun, due to it's MUCH reduced sound signature, yet still having the ability to get in trigger time with an "AR".
Another positive aspect of the 9mm AR is the ability to shoot them on the handgun range.
(It has become increasingly difficult to use the rifle range for our "move and shoot" drills.)
Yesterday we had drills involving shooting and moving with the AR9's, then transitioning to handgun.
It was exciting as the R.O. ("Muzzle!, SAFETY!!")
There is a LOT of "shoot, make safe, move, shoot, make safe, transition to handgun" going on.
There were a number of the lads that had never done this that did pretty well at the end of the day.
Just something to consider if you haven't tried it.
