Yesterday .38 Super day
Tomorrow I go for the trifecta, three days straight.
Think the new bushing needs a little more fitment, had to push it into battery on every shot. Hard to rack but was able to by hand, ammo had no problem going into chamber.
Took the bride out today.
You consistently shoot with outstanding accuracy. Sweet pistol collection, too.
Thank you sir. I practice as much as possible and thanks for the pistol compliment. You have a fine collection also, you seem to be a liker of DW also among other fine 1911's.
Pulled off the trifecta, then went to work.
Shot the newly acquired CZ TSO I purchased from @pacheco1284. What a firearm !! First few mags prove it.
Brought out some of my other favorite poodle shooters too today.

Yesterday i did some work on my 1942 Remington 03-A3. The trigger was very gritty. Got it to a smooth and safe 4 lbs. I set the reference scales on the Lyman peep sight, at the 100 yard zero (last week). After a few dial turns and drop adjustments, I went after steel at 300 yards. If I don't try to over adjust, the rifle is a tack driver. 24" steel plate by the way. Follow where the rifle is pointing, to the left, in the photo.
Put 50 thru my Ruger SR1911 after I put my new Dawson fiber optic front sight with the pusher @WVsig loaned me. It’s right on! And then 200 thru my Ruger Mark IV
Nice. Some steel challenge.
Nice plinker! I may need one of those!
I emptied my carry rounds in prep for a clean/lube job (DW Valkyrie and Kahr PM9). Then I rung the steel with a GI longslide 10mm and a Wilson Protector (old version) in 45. Weee!
No pictures, but I tested some reloads in my EB Special Forces Carry today.
Please don't tell me that trigger is as good as everyone says it is...
Sounds like fun. Anything promising on the loads ?
The load has already been “proven” in all my full size guns, and it works just as well in the Commander.
Super. Thats always nice, right there.
Super shooting. Big advocate of that gun, too. The Valor commanders may be my favorite gun they made.
Got 20-30mins in with my TRP Operator yesterday, but too damn hot for a long session. I swear that gun shoots better every time I take it out!
stretched the legs on these two today
several hundred rounds expelled, both shooting lights out
Much prefer the woods to a formal range. Great afternoon and evening.
Shot the SA TRP primarily. Can't say enough about how good a pistol the SA TRP is. Watching targets disappear in front of the a1 always gives warm/fuzzies. The 6906 is showing its age but still reliable. ....and no i am not showing you guys my targets....but I will show you stuff surrounding my targets that managed to survive...
