Ok I know this was on TOS.....but seriously...What do y'all think of it? For $55 I mean looks like it'd work fine to me....not too different than a P500..IMO

He selling a bunch of them. Guys are pushing out Kimber sights with them.
From what I've heard, those things are tighter than Dicks hat band!!!!!!

if the sights fit tight on the dovetail, I see you marring the sight and maybe the slide. the screw that is being used to move the sight will turn while moving the sight. the P500 has a separate piece that will remain stationary, when installing the sight.

I'd use a punch and vice over the pusher that you have linked to.

    just my personal thought...

if you're only doing 1-2 sights, then just send the slide in to get them installed.

Could you put a small metal shim between the bolt and the sight?

Yep...I want to get a P500 like you suggested, eventually.

For now I just sent my Kimber off to ACW for the 10-8 sight install

All it takes is a small piece of brass or plastic in between the sight and the screw and you are golden.

It seems like a pretty sweet deal. I've tried quite a few pushers and for 55 bucks, it's worth the gamble.

That's the setup my P500 sight pusher has, though the round tip will still mar the sight if it is tight. The screw bottoms out hard against the tip and turns it. I've just become accustomed to using a small square block between tip and sight, it won't rotate due to the dovetail.

I even add a fold up business card between the block and sight.

Molly lube works real well in the pivot area of the pusher .

You weren't gonna get that rear sight out with any pusher I've ever seen! That sucker was IN THERE! Kimber makes their rear sight with a 2 thousandths of an inch taper to the dovetail. You have to know which way to drive it out. If you start wrong, you are just wedging it tighter. It turned out to be a piece of chicken.
