So a few years ago I cut the cable..got tired of rates going up and nada in return. Was ok with Netflix and Amazon Prime plus we'd get over the air reception for the networks and about 7 or 8 other channels...(the coaxial cable that was still in place acted as a nice antenna)

Day before yesterday nothing. No reception other than a few channels that were fuzzy and buzzy...did the scan for channels function on the remote, searched as it had all the other times I've done it...same thing, nada.

Any idea what the issue might be? Oh, I also had an antenna booster and replaced it...

Interference from new construction or other electronics?

    TV tuner or amplifier broke?

no new construction. Not sure how to check if the tuner crapped the bed..I suppose that's possible...the new antenna amp seems to help a little but getting all different channels over the air, just a few...just odd...well I'm getting NBC so Blue Bloods is viewable

    I haven't owned a TV since 2008.

I would like to think that my lack of a television puts me a step above the rest of the narcotized TV viewing world. Then I remember that I have the Internet and a Netflix subscription.

Don’t know what they’re (gubmint) is doing with over sir broadcast but I haven’t heard of any changes do more than likely it’s a hardware issue.

I grew up with farmer vision and being the remote. You know the 50yd dash through 1’ high shag carpet:geek: when parents wanted to watch a different channel, of three that we got.

So with all that said I like my tv, I love my 60” 4K set up

Something may have happened to your coaxial cable. Possibly shorted to ground or whatever. Usually the coaxial cable is not a very good antenna itself. Try using a new short piece of coaxial cable (5 or 6 foot long with at least 10 inches of the center cable conductor expose on the end as the antenna. Do not let the bare exposed end touch anything that is grounded.
