Found some of these boxes when i was rearranging some ammo cans

EC stands for Evansville( ammo plant)

They are worth what some collector will pay for them. They probably have corrosive primers, the U.S. military started phasing out corrosive primers in '49 and it was fully implemented by '54. I've seen them going for $15-$20 a box at gun shows. They look great in a display case with a 1911A1 from WWII.

It was produced in such huge quantities that there is little collector interest. Fun to try and get all the manufacturers.

See if you can find a military museum that will accept them. I donated some old stuff some years ago and they were thankful. A recent donation was nixed since their storage was full to capacity!
