Found the forum on happenstance. Made the plunge from creeper to poster today. First experience with a pistol was the old 92fs. It was armory issued, but that single action pull just made sense. Initial pistol purchase was a glock. Left some to be desired, so the most obvious choice was to buy two more glocks including the 34. The grip angle and nasty trigger wasn't great. Moved onto a Kimber ultra II , brought me back to a SA. Then the target II in 9mm. Great feeling pistol minus failure to eject every 1-4 rounds before a tuned Caspian extractor. I wish kimbers reliability was as good as their marketing... Also have a sig scorpion 1911 that was used for a handful of local comps that ran like a raped ape compared to kimbers. Life, work and travel got in the way for years and rarely shot. Drank the tacticoolaid again when funds and time became available. Two more glocks and mods to the "glock perfection" were in order. RMR cut, upgrades sights, flat faced trigger, new mag release, slide stop, mag well, grip reduction + stippling, etc. Pistol still felt like trash compared to the stock scorpion. Loving the new 2011 and want to thank all the contributors of this site.
