I deal with a fairly large FFL locally and they won't ship to NJ (among others). I'm in NC. I have a FedEx counter close to me where I can ship Priority Overnight Air as an individual.

Assuming a buyer's NJ FFL will even accept shipments from an individual are there any particular NJ state laws I need to be aware of?

NJ is a communist country controlled by Russia (Putin). No guns allowed from outside from free countries.

Seriously. I may have a buyer there. Anybody knowledgeable in how to legally run the blockade?

If you are asking a question like that on a gun forum I'd saying you are not equiped to be shipping a gun to NJ

You might want to talk to the FFL your shipping it to.

That hillbilly is from Kentucky and anybody outside his beautiful state he thinks is a commie

Pretty much since there aren't many rules here. If the Feds allow it is legal and a few here don't care what the feds say. ;)

I've asked the buyer for the FFL, but figured I'd post up while I'm waiting so I don't have to take the word of a guy at the FFL counter six states away.

Not when you throw lawmakers into the mix.
Best answer will more than likely be the NJ FFL.

I wouldn't plan shipping it to them without talking to them first.

Might give your local FFL some insight as well.
Like getting ammo shipped to CT( Soviet Bloc Ed!!),many companies exclude CT until they find all they need is a copy of your permit.

You might call the New Jersey State Police -- here is the site with the number to the firearms unit: https://www.njsp.org/firearms/firearms-faqs.shtml

IF you can get somebody on the phone, I suspect they would help answer your question.

Good luck ... hope it goes smoothly.

Well, they're constantly trying to re-up gun laws(gotta justify that hefty salary),while upgrading the rail system.
    That SCARES me.
