It has that reverse angled frame like the DW specialist. Im not sure why its like that, but a railed 1911 is meant to have a light attached and that doesnt pose a factor when it is. It is a very modernized custom but I personally like it! The cuts on top of the slide are far from a tradionalist's taste, but i think their unique.
I think my next build is definitely going to have a Heine or chen magwell on it for sure

because it's a RRA frame and he had the slide ball-cut blend into the dustcover

Pro Armament still has the RRA w/ rail

    An awesome build!

And guess what? The owner actually uses it!
    Like
prolly to the tune of several thousand rounds per week.

When smiff shopping, always ask to speak with a high round count user.
Myself and many of the other 'busy' smiffs will prolly tell you 'no'. Nothing to hide, just
    burned out by 'tire kickers'.
The new kid, that is very good, will gladly give you referrals
    /owners to contact.

I like how the left side of the frame has thin serrations for this thumb to index.

Pretty nice build.....and I agree with Chuck. There is no better way to test a build than to put it into the hands of someone that is going to use it like a rented mule....I would say Chris Costa fits into that category. The build looks really solid....I like it.

Wow, I wish I could shoot that kind of round count. I actually like it, except for the ambi safety. Best part is that it's well used, and dirty!

Wow... This looks all business... I like the rear sights with the hooks. Definitely will aid in one hand malfunction clearing and reloading.

Damn,......I'm rather surprised that sight got past Bob.
While he is not as experineced as Pistolwrench,
Bob's attention to detail with my GI is outstanding!

I noticed that as well. I like stuff like that.

I think as I get more dialed in with 1911s, my next build (I can't believe I'm already considering one) will have some features along those lines.

I'm hoping his attention to detail is spot on. My SA 1911 has been with him for 3 years now and I'm eager to see how my MSH idea turned out. It sounds like hes' put some thought and some work in to it per our conversations.

Damn, 3 years... I know he was doing other things that helped to make it a long wait. Welcome BTW

How long did you have to wait Faa for the work to be completed?
