Ed Brown products does not have distributors for firearms, only dealers. On another note, why do we care what you paid for the pistol. I'm not sure if this "dealer" is a friend or just a fool with an FFL. One thing I'm certain of is that he's a chump for selling that pistol at that price. He didn't make a dime. Frankly, it sounds like a certain "dealer" just trying to save face.

Since the price offended you, I have deleted it. As to why it was there, to inform prospective buyers that they do not have to buy the gun directly from Ed Brown at their posted prices. Pretty simple.

You need to get the chip off your shoulder!

No chip on my shoulder. You would have to live under a rock not to know that most firearms are available for less than MSRP.

In your case, you ended up doing business with someone who sold the pistol at cost to save face and have someone go online and brag about buying the pistol from him. For those of us that are for profit businesses, it makes it tough to make a fair mark up when folks brag about how cheap they bought a firearm, especially when it's at cost.

Coupla final thoughts here. While you might not have known about him selling at cost, you probably don't care as long as you got the pistol cheap. If or when it needs service for warranty work, you'll be on your own.

Lastly, in case you hadn't noticed, we pay good money to advertise here. So I consider it bad form to come to this playground which I help support and brag about what a good deal you got elsewhere. Without the pricing I do not find your post offensive. Congrats on the score.

    Well, that's fine.
I am sorry other dealers prices are cheaper than you.

As far as I am concerned, you can keep your thoughts to yourself!
You attitude has made me decide to NEVER visit or post in this Forum again.

I'm outta here, never to come back. Enjoy your sandbox!
