He’s good..... he’s real good. Chances are it’ll go ten pages.

Even though I don’t like the triggers, I wouldn’t mind taking a G48 for a spin. Just out of curiosity minds you.

When a tool is functional and well designed,it doesn’t have to look good, but blaming a inanimate object for killing people is Darwin Award stuff.

Don't want to read through this whole thing, but was curious, did he ever come back, or did ya'll spank him enough that he went looking for somewhere else to troll? Later.

I don't really think he was trolling I think he was just trying to share his love of the 1911 and dislike for the plastic guns.

g48 is pretty nice package size and if you can find the 15 round mag for them it’s a great carry ,, still learning to like the trigger and may swap that out when I find something I like ,,, I think it’s a keeper though. Not a looker

Their triggers are not great, but they are consistent and you can learn to shoot them. Even without the 15 round conversion, 10+1 should get you out of any trouble.

Sone years ago, I had 14 Glocks, but this was before I found 1911s. I only have four now

ROTFLMAO! Some agency is missing their idiot. Just FYI; “there” is an adverb: in or at that place: to or into that place. Please remind us where you might be employed.

The lack of punctuation made reading that a real chore.

Each has “their” (not ‘there’) own opinion. 27yrs. on the job b4 I retired; State firearms & patrol rifle instructor, IDPA, PPC, & 3 gun competitor. From many of the responses, there are quite a few yrs. in practical experience behind them. How much dry & live trigger time do you have w/ your issued pistol? Sure, I love my Colts & Kimbers in .45 & 10mm but Glocks were made for “Joe” & “Joe” breaks everything he is issued. So, keeping spare parts, to include mags & repair time is a cost consideration. If you choose to stay on the job after a few years, you are going to see just how crazy budgets become, the need to streamline this or that etc.
