Wilson Combat EDC 9 Professional?

Anybody familiar with this particular variant of the EDC 9 product line? (Edited to remove the "X" from EDC X9; thanks for the correction @golfguns !)

I don't believe I've ever come across this exact variant. The OD Green finish carrying into the serrations on the slide creates a distinctive look. The matching ejector and small parts only add to it, in my humble opinion.

What does the "Professional" designation add, exactly? The details on Wilson's own site seem scant in that regard.

I notice that the Professional seems to have standard grips, which I like, as compared to the integrated grip modules on other variants.

It's a fat sticker! Ultimately, is the Professional worth it?

It’s single stack, not the X9 variant.

I couldn't find any of these ever sold in the Classifieds here, in any color/finish variation. Maybe I need to tweak the search terms!

I very nearly and foolishly did not purchase one at my LGS this year for $2500 😞I had just made a couple purchases so I was broke
If you like external extractors they are a nice pistol . That is ultimately what made my decision .
They are great pistols and the EDC series has shown no fault with the extractors but I prefer internal .

Thanks for the insight here, everyone!

I suppose I'm wondering what the likelihood of ever finding a used one for sale here might be, particularly in that same finish, and if so, at around $3,000.

Close to zero?

Same finish - zero … EDC9s are hens teeth no one buys them even though it is a fantastic pistol . Most people want the double stack version unless you reside in a banned state and the options for single stack 1911s are huge even from Wilsons own line
Good luck in your search if it is out there it will go through the ads here for sure 😊
