I have a few of them and I think it was Safariland at least that is what one of mine has for a marking under the WC logo

Thanks! I thought they had a "Safariland" look to them, but I wasn't sure. Of course, like everything Safariland makes that is good, they are long discontinued.

 

There’s a couple companies out there that do Kydex and leather combo.
Can’t recall off the top of my head but I’m sure it’ll come up when you google it.

I think the price point were better than 100% leather

 

Safariland made that run. Dillon (Mitch Rosen) made most of the others

 

Garrett does a combo now I have a bunch and they are great . However the WC/ Safariland referenced above is heavy duty it is thick

Tucker Gunleather makes a hybrid Boltaron/leather.

 

Rogers made some exotics using his Safariland patterns. Don’t know if they still do.

 

Edited...nevermind. I see he's not making holsters any more.

 

coincidentally I just saw one of those 1911 holsters (RH) on ebay yesterday, but gone this morning.
