Anyone have a photo of Wilson fixed battlesights on an otherwise GI style 1911?

I’ve got a 80 series colt government that I’d like to leave stock except for the sights and grips (either some nice elk or colt walnut with gold medallion). I shot a buddies Wilson with fixed rear and gold bead front and I really liked the sight picture and the speed with which I could pick up the bead. It seemed faster than the 10-8 and Harrison for me.

I’m ok breaking up the classic lines a little, but I’d love to see the setup first if anyone has it.

    Thanks!

Does it have gi sights? Or is the slide already cut?

    Currently GI

Wilson would do the cutting and install if I go that route. Pretty undecided on what to do. The pistol is lights out accurate and reliable. I just want to make it fast as heck while keeping the old school vibe.

The BBQ is what I shot...what a pistol!

I don’t think those sights would look too bad on a GI pistol the more I look at them

I prefer the 10-8 or Harrison Design black rear due to the more pronounced hook.
