@DWPW have you used a modlite pistol light before? If so how has it performored compared to sure-fire
@Saltlakeyankee357 hmm depends on the models we're comparing. The Modlite PLHv2 head seems brighter than the surefire (some people get into sophisticated measuring like "spill" and "throw"... I guess maybe I'm not smart enough to differentiate the two lol). The Modlite OKW head is made to replace the SF M600 heads and seems plenty of people find it worthwhile to do so. The SF seems to be the standard of toughness and reliability tho and I'm not sure how the MLs hold up under seriously adverse conditions.
IME, if you're not going into a WARZONE, Streamlight models perform just as well as Surefire, or better in some cases. Like for example, the Streamlight TLR-1HL is brighter and better than the X300-B, is just as tough IME, and costs HALF as much.
