Baer TRS is withdrawn, thanks all.
Sweet deal and sounds like you have another beauty on the way!
If I remember correctly, the Baer TRS came out in '99. Best of luck with your sale.
No ambi-it’s a standard blue Thunder Ranch Special. I can’t access my photos until I get home but I’ve got multiple posts about it with photos on the forum.
I thought 1999 was the first year, the older gentleman that has the one I’m hoping to get said he thinks 2000 is when he got it. I haven’t seen it yet, don’t know the serial number.
The suspense is killing me! Need pics! Need pics! OK I’ll wait
crc is correct. They came out in '99. The first 110 or so we built as Clint originally spec'd them with the Colt style teardrop thumb safety and Novak sights.
The next 10 or so had varying sights/safeties (transitional).
I've personally owned #'s 58, 85, 95, 99, and 113 + one more I'm foggy on the ser# of. Lol.
After 120, most had a "Wilson" style thumb safety and Champion? sights.
My serial number is in the 170's (Feb of 2000) and has the teardrop safety. The previous owner must have sent it to Baer in 2014 for new Baer night sights since that's what was on it when I got it.
Love the degree of background and knowledge on this site a’la @gunfighter45 - so cool, and one of the many reasons I’m glad I found this place.
Sorry for the brief detour - congrats again @Doc45 on the upcoming TRS and GLWS on your current one.
That would be #118.
Please tell me there are no front cocking serrations
Pics up, did my best to show the gun in it's worst possible way, truly looks better in person but I'm going for full disclosure and honesty here.
That’s a great deal on a low round count Hillsdale TRS!!
Another deal on the forum I wish I had the $ for.
I ordered my TRS 2yrs ago and it has under 2k rounds but looks much more abused than the OP.
The rust gremlins got ahold of mine back in the spring. Waiting for a few more rounds before a refinish tho.
Bump please, thank you.
If I didn’t recently buy a early 90s Hillsdale SRP commanche recently I’d be all over this for the listed price.
