I know a guy that has a really cool Bruce Gray Tanfoglio with an interesting back story. I can't say that a Bruce Gray 1911 is something that I have seen... but I would sure like to!
Bruce had a smith in his shop that did a hard tail conversion on a 1911 build. I regret passing on it 10 years ago or so. I think his name was Roy? It was very well executed and maintained the grip safety but the beaver tail didn’t pivot. I have a 9mm AR-24 from Bruce that’s fantastic. If you find two 1911s from him, give me a ring. Lol
I had 5 firearms by Bruce. Down to an unfired build for me custom Para P14-45 (kit)/Caspian slide and a HK PSP. The others were a P226, A Caspian that is now with his son and a longslide that I wish I never sold.
He is also customizing a P210A with a unique feature.
