WTB: Springfield Compact (aka CCO)

    Wanted early-to-mid 1990's Springfield Armory 1911 Compact .45ACP, steel frame.

    This is the 4" barrel officers frame version, aka "CCO".

    There's a guy on www.gunsamerica.com with 3 or 4 SA CARRY COMP Compacts, NIB for sale. They date from the early-mid '90s.

    Couldn't find any on GunsAmerica, did find a TRP Champion on there for only...$1950....:rolleyes2:

    Too bad you just missed Faawrenchbndr's compact... it looked like a great buy.

    Keep an eye out on GB... for three months straight there was at least one on there that sold for ~$500.

    Greg's Compact is a LW GI model. The OP wants a steel frame.

    Nice, but that's going to cost 4x's more than $500.

    Sorry. One guy has had (4) Carry Comps listed for MONTHS on GunsAmerica. I guess someone finally realized 'what they were' and grabbed them.
