As the title says, I'd like to buy a quality (Ed Brown, etc.) SS Commander-sized recoil spring plug in really great shape. The reason I'm asking here is because Midway or Brownells always charges an arm and a leg for shipping, which makes me, on principal, not want to buy single, small items from them. Then I feel the need to fill the cart with stuff I didn't need to justify ordering from them.

My new DW CBob has as really cheap factory plug on it right now...not sure what was up with that choice, but I want a pretty one. :)

I'm thinking that one of you has changed your commander over to a FLGR and you have a nice, new SS, checkered plug in a drawer waiting for me to buy it.

Get back to me if you've got one.

    Thanks!!

I ended up ordering a polished commander plug from that guy. I can't wait to install it!

    Thanks, knedrgr!

Hey, just got the recoil spring plug for my commander in the mail today. It's a really great quality plug and looks really great! Much better than most I've seen, especially the factory DW plug. That things was an embarrassment. You can tell that one guy did all the work and took pride in his craft. I'll see if I can get some pics, but I'm running out of town for a few days.

Thanks, again, knedrgr for the heads-up on that guy!
