Oh man that's great! I have a 9mm Combat Carry and I wish I could pick this one up too. Looks like it has his rear sight as sell; a great rear sight. GLWS I don't think it'll last long at that price.
That is a beautiful gun. Is it the lighting or is it a 2 tone. It looks like a black frame with either a blued frame or a stealth gray frame. I'd be very interested in the actual colors.
The finish on the Combat Carry is Ion Bond. The finish on the Signature with the fancy burl panels is blued with polished flats. The picture gives it a matte finish but it is polished.
Thanks to Otofly. Order is in on the 9mm Signature mate.
I have a blued and polished gun by Luke and he does an amazing job. The frame on mine is CCH, but I emailed him and he told me he does his own blueing and polishing.. it looks really great.
IonBond is another awesome finish for different reasons.
You all have me really wanting to order another custom Volkmann. This time I think I'd probably go with a 9mm Signature.
They have this one sitting in the local Cabelas in Lone Tree. I was tempted but comes with FCS and adjustable sights/gold bead. Latter can be swapped but not much can be done with the front serrations.
Agree with Marine24 on above post. I also like to have the Volkmann monogram on the rear of the slide. That 9 is a beauty however, and very tempting. Even us Easterners now about that Cabela's and the treasures it can hold.
