I have the slide top serrations on most of my Wilsons and very much like them. The X-Tac treatment on the slide top does nothing for me but I’m sure many will like it. The very first X-Tac Super Grade was built last year for a friend of mine and I have examined it and shot it. That one is a very classy looking gun and Wilson hit it out of the ballpark on that build that was spec’d out by my friend.
Hopefully they can be spec’d out as the buyers desires.
I like X-Tac guns. this one...not so much.
IMHO they should have made the X-Tac pattern (miniaturized)(finer) on the top of the slide about 1/10th the size than the side of slide. For a SG grade gun the rear of the slide should have miniaturized X pattern as well. Naked slide of course.
I'd take one in H.C. with those grips in French Walnut or Cocobolo and my above mods
Hey, at least the ball cuts line up for the haters
