I believe the front sight is a Novak cut... but the rear is a GI style cut.

I doubt that a Les Baer UTC has a GI rear cut.

Front sight is a novak cut. 65 degree by .330 with a 1/16" blind pin. Rear sight is a Novak cut. Here are the links to the sight cut prints.
    http://www.novaksights.com/products/sights/installation.html

First print is the rear sight, and third print is the front sight.

The XS will work in the front just fine. Rear sight has a ton of options from real Novak to 10-8

I was talking about the XS sights that I have seen available, not the Baer.

    thread DONE.

edit: (not that further discussing isnt ok... just sayin'... AC owned it.)

FWIW i dont care much for the XS rear. the shallow 'v' more or less.... but i DO really really like the regular XS white dot front sight (not the big dot.) it has a nice thick white ring that pops much more than the trijicon rings. pair it up with a 0.156" 10-8 U-notch in the back and thats my favorite sight setup.

Well the info. Igot back from Les Baer is Rear Sight is .365x65/Front is .330x60 (this is what is confusing me,when I go to order it on their website,it gives me a measurement of .330x65 for the front)as stated by AlchemyCustomWeaponry

You are correct. The XS standard dot front is THE way to go. Easiest to see front sight there is, plus it works in the dark too. Much better than the gold bead IMHO.

More love for the XS regular dot with a 10-8 rear...
It's the perfect size for the "U" notch. The big dot is great for instinctive shooting, but I find it hard to align horizontally as it completely fills the "U".
I have a gold bead and it's fine for the range or outdoors where there's more light, but I would not get another one, it's just not as versatile a a tritium sight with a good white ring.
