Always humbled to hear of someone like that giving the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. RIP and prayers to the family.
Sad...all men and women get my humble prayers for a safe return every night. It's my way of honoring their service to our country, God bless them all..
Rip Marine and Army Spc 4 Phillips. What is the story on Phillips Ron?
This is from my era.. The Huey was hit by small arms fire while low and slow over the coast.. Splashed in nine feet of water. Most likely he survived the crash and was then killed or allowed to die afterward. The two crew that died in the crash were brought home years ago.. If it goes in on your side, you're smashed and can't get out, but he was probably right side DG and able to jump. The rotation of the blades normally mean a left side crash.. JMO.. Not worth much.. Ron
Thanks, and I knew it was our era.
