Same here, got this home after shooting it today and cleaned it up and dug out some slim grips. I'm sure Ted eye-roll's my grip choices.

I'm not sure these grips are perfect but they'll do until I scour the internet for ideas.

This is the only Government gun I own, I was very impressed with it today, not only soft shooing but it now takes the place as the most accurate gun in my collection, very, very accurate

You got too many choices now, I‘d like to be you for a day, I’d just go shoot’em all. Congrats
You didn't steal that thing off Ted's bench, did you?? Just wondering as I'm still waiting on mine:rolleyes:

A great day shooting yesterday - thanks for the invitation John. So many beautiful guns there - too many Yosts to count!! That .38 Super is so soft shooting, and the bone-gripped Commander is fantastic. I unexpectedly went home with a Yost after an impromptu trade - will need to post pics, although I'm so terrible at photographing guns.

John! I know! I was simply smitten with your pistol as it looks exactly what I talked about with Ted for my next build. You have yours in hand!! Congrats again. I must confess I was a little taken back that it was a five-incher!

I know, I'm a die-hard commander guy but when something so special presents itself you make concessions. It's not like Yost or Burton two-tone 38 supers are just laying around the classifieds.

The combination of Ted's HC guy passing, Ted maybe not doing HC anymore, the cost of 38 super base guns, the difficulty on getting Ted to commit to a build and the fact I think I bought this right all were factors. Down the road I may try and trade it for a Burton, Yost or Rogers 38 super if the situation presented itself

Regarding the chrome, I am concerned about a two-tone from TED as well. I still want a two-tone from him but I already know talking him into anything he may not be 100% comfortable with is going to next to impossible. We'll know soon enough!
Wow. Very nice! Scottsdale is the place to be!
