...when you do this

LOL, was practicing my reloading at home with the P229 Legion SAO, which fits my hand well but has a short butt. Well, I found out just how much too short...would you call that about 1/8 of an inch too short?

I had to eject the mag with my free hand to get my my finger out from between the mag and the frame.

I have pinched myself when reloading a 1911 as well, but not like this. It had a real good hold on my finger. Might be another reason to stick with 17 round frames or full size 1911 frames for me.

Not so much cause my hand is so big, but because I am so dumb!

Ouch, I hate getting those, hurts more than a cut, lasts longer than a bruise.

My Sig P250 will bite you if you don't watch out.
Yea, I do not have that issue with the P320 carry grip frame, and I get 17 rounds...Lesson learned.

I've had a few different guns with short grips, and got rid of them. I don't shoot them well, so I stick with full size guns. Also pinched my finger a few times.

And that’s why I sold the P229 Legion and stuck with the P226 variant.
