Found this old thing a while back, had to have it. It’s an old limited build by EGW from some time back when they did builds. Karl did a video on his channel of it a few months ago when I got it. Shoots great, whoever had it built was clearly left handed cause they added a reinforced stop for the ambi side safety lever and a relief cutout for your thumb bone. Thought it was pretty neat, doesn’t help me much since I’m not lol. The frame is from when STI was in Austin TX, anyone know when they moved from there? That could give me an idea how old it is.

The wide, OEM Prodigy slide serrations were bugging me worse and worse the closer I got PRODERATOR to looking more like a “classic” 1911, so I decided to bite the bullet and file off the existing serrations and re-cut fine serrations:

Getting harder and harder to believe she started as a stock Prodigy, even for me…

That looks great.

I bought this one on a total whim this weekend, just because I'm a fan of the 4.25 + .75 comp configuration. Slide to frame fit was very impressive for what it is and what it's not. Trigger shoe is way toooooo long (simple fix), but trigger setup is solid. DLC comp'd gun for 1400, and looks I don't hate. Likely to take on role of backup gun for the range or it ends up being a fun project gun. I shot 50 rounds with just irons right after purchase and rather enjoyed it. I'm optimistic!
