I shot indoor 10 meter bullseye for a few years. I started with a Ruger Mk. 2, went to a Smith model 41 and ended up with a High Standard Victor. All were equally accurate. I loved the Victor. It had the best trigger of the bunch. It was finicky about magazines. The only magazine it would shoot without a jam was a High Standard. I liked the competition but the city closed the range down and I lost interest. Which 22LR auto do you like?

I love my mark 2. I can shoot it and it's accuracy is good. It wasn't finicky about ammo, mags or grime. Cleaning is a rod down the barrel and a q-tip in the action and oil. I have never broken it down and cleaned it. As all owners know, its's a pain in the tail. I have shot more accurate 22s but not by much, and totally more problematic. ammo, mags... Fun regardless. I enjoy shooting and teaching others to shoot on my MK 2 that I gave it to my mom to shoot as she found it very easy for her to do so and well.

I probably shoot my SS Ruger Mk3, purchased here, the best. Holosun 403B optic and a few upgrade parts. Only competition is an informal silhouette match where the max distance is about 45 yards. I usually shoot mid 30s out of 40 targets.
But also have a 41 with a Clark barrel, Victor and building a Caspian frame for a Nelson upper.
I enjoy all.

I love my Buckmark. Very fine trigger and super accurate. That pistol will out shoot my FIL's S&W model 41 even after he sent it to Clark's for barrel and mods. He passed a couple of years ago so now I have both pistols.

I’ve had a few but felt the Ruger Mark IV Hunter was the most accurate. I’m sure the Volquartsen guns posted earlier on this thread are even more accurate. For me the S&W 422 that I picked up from another member is definitely the most fun to shoot, but does not win in any of the previous categories mentioned; disassembly is not for the uninhibited. My least favorite 22lr pistol would be the Sig Mosquito; discontinued I believe and for good reason.

Auto loaders- Volquartsen with a red dot is my go to for groups and long distance. I also like shooting a Kimber 1911 .22 Target, it’s a little finicky (prefers faster bullets) but does produce solid groups!
I enjoy .22 revolvers as well and have a few that can shoot lights out with the autos!
