Newby question here. I want a set of grips but they only come with an ambi cut. My 1911 does not have an ambi. My question is, will this look weird? Has anybody ever done this? Thanks in advance.

Won't matter there will be a tiny gap where there ambi lever would be that's all they will fit fine.
Not my photo...not that big of a deal. Me personally, I don't like the void but I'm also OCD about petty stuff.

There is a small thin cut away in the inside of the right grip. Colt has been using an ambi-cut grip on their blue 1991 series for a few years with no ambi. Hard to see unless you look for it.
Just make sure you're looking through the sights and pulling the trigger when facing the rear of the gun. You'll be fine.
keep looking there are grips that specially said not cut for ambi safety, I have both on single side safety guns, it doesn't bother me though.
if you like VZ grips you can order a set cut for Dan Wesson and the left and right will be cut the same shape but with no ambi cut?
