Im not sure how it would turn out. It sounds like a cool idea though, I had a Wilson combat ar in the battle worn a few years ago and it was sick, I wish I would of never got rid of it really. I do have a Scar17 cerakoted in sniper grey if you’d want to see that. Not sure if that would help. Im sure there’s much more knowledgeable people on here so I’m sure your answer will come along, let me know if I can help Buddy!

 

Yeah- sniper grey or tungsten are my other thoughts. Or just doing battle worn on the upper and lower receiver and block on the handguard.

 

I think your choices are good either way you go. I have a custom Novak Springfield 1911 that’s cerakoted in tungsten and it looks good to. I think anyway you do it will be cool. But I’m pretty easy to please so there that 💀

Not a fan of the battle worn CeraCoat jobs I’ve seen. I DO like naturally worn Krylon though.

I wasn't looking to buy that (or any) gun when I saw that color. I was waiting for a BRN 180 upper to arrive, saw the color, and purchased.

 

I like paint.
Allows for your own creativity. If you use it enough it will become "battle worn" or if your in a hurry you could lightly sand the high spots.
