Can you pull the casing out of the chamber easily? (not bulged tight) If so, It seems to me that it has to be extractor hooks....... or.... some WC mags ride high. Is the fired round getting hung up on the next round crimp. See if it happens when you fire some rounds without the mag. inserted.

 

Yes round comes out pretty easily…have to drop the mag and then it will come out.

 

Same ammo as before? Same magazines?How many rounds on the recoil spring?

 

Same brand ammo, but for sure different batch. Same mags. 1200 ish rounds on springs.

 

Perhaps the magazine's lips are not set correctly? Is the magazine seated where it should be? Have you tried a different mag?

 

I have 20 identical mags. Randomly happened across a bunch of them

 

Put a new extractor in it
Shape it, polish it and adjust it
Then be done with it
EGW HD or Wilson BP are my go to's FWIW

Try the 10-8 Performance extractor test before you start throwing money at it. Take 16 of your 20 identical mags, and load one (1) round into each. Insert mag, chamber round, eject mag, fire one round. If it properly digests and ejects all 16 rounds, the extractor is not your problem. The magazine can mask an improperly adjusted or otherwise defective extractor.

My suggestion is try some different brand magazines.........preferably Tripps.
