Carry cuts - Do you use them?

I’ve read many opinions on carry cuts, or as some call them, high-power cuts. The opinions are mostly what people think of their looks.

My question is if you have them, or have had them in the past, did you use them like front cocking serrations or not use them at all?
Did they help with holster wear if you care much about that?
Would you get them again if given a choice?

I have a build coming up and can’t quite make up my mind between carry cuts or no cuts at all. I do like FCS because I am a lefty. I don’t normally use them for chambering a round, but do use them for other manipulations where some purchase of the slide helps. I don’t want FCS on this build for…reasons.

Thanks

Both are solutions to non-existent problems. I do not use either.

Don’t like carry cuts. It’s a cosmetic preference. I also don’t mind FCS so there’s that too.

Thanks for all of the input. Seems most don’t mind them, and a few do use them.
I’d like to think I’m more of a function over form type, but in this case, is the “juice worth the squeeze” when next getting actual serrations?
It’s funny how there is often that one thing on a build that is difficult to decide on. For me, it’s always been something different each time.

I don’t like the FCS unless they are wide like on some of the NHC pistols. My favorite are carry cuts followed close by the ball cut. Do I use the carry cut no but I like the looks.
