I hate front cocking serrations. I would do HiPower cuts on a gun that had fcs if I had to have that gun. I liked the cuts on the Eli Whitney, for example. Buy I would prefer not to have them

 

I have custom 1911’s with carry cuts and hi-power cuts.
Can’t stand FCS. 🤮

 

I’m no fan of fcs on 1911s but can and have a few guns with carry cuts
2011s all have some crazy cuts and I love with them but still no fan

 

Mine work, I don't care for doggy beat up pistols, not really worried about BBQ guns.

 

I like HP Cuts and have a build in with them currently.

 

I like the look of ball cuts and HP cut... plus they are a cosmetically correct way to remove FCS.

 

I like carry cuts and FCS and I do use both to press check - I always do it before I holster a pistol be it at a comp of for EDC
Never want a click when I wanted a bang .
Wear doesnt bother me on pistols so that is not a concern .

I like all of them carry cuts, ball cuts and no FCS. Carry any of them, not much worried of the Carry wear. The Wilson ULCC with Carry cuts is carried majority of the time.

 

Both are solutions to non-existent problems. I do not use either.

 

Don’t like carry cuts. It’s a cosmetic preference. I also don’t mind FCS so there’s that too.

 

I like the look and have it on a couple of customs, but I can't say that they serve any practical purpose for me.

 

I have both on various guns. Use both for press checking.

Aesthetically, I think a pistol with neither looks a bit more pleasing. But, I think FCS and Carry Cuts look good too.

I like the look of a commander with carry cuts. I also don’t mind FCS on a government model. But I can’t stand FCS on a commander or smaller slide.

 

Wilson does a lot of commander size models with carry cuts and I like all of them. I have a pistol I’m sending to have NH do carry cuts on along with other things.

 

I love them. I think they sexy up a pistol. I will use them and FCSs for press checks.

 

I'm not a press check kinda guy and carry cuts look better on a Hi Power than a 1911 to me. If you're manipulating the slide from the front, Properly placed FCS make more sense than carry cuts.

I’d like to think I’m more of a function over form type, but in this case, is the “juice worth the squeeze” when next getting actual serrations?
It’s funny how there is often that one thing on a build that is difficult to decide on. For me, it’s always been something different each time.

I don’t like the FCS unless they are wide like on some of the NHC pistols. My favorite are carry cuts followed close by the ball cut. Do I use the carry cut no but I like the looks.

 

I like them. I planned for them from the beginning for my last build. I use them for press checks. I press check alot. I molded my holster to the pistol after I did the carry cuts so it doesn’t cut down on holster wear.

 

I wouldn't order them (or FCS) on a gun, but I have some with them and don't mind. This is probably the one 1911 I've owned where I truly thought they fit.

 

I like them and use them.

 

On a commander slide they look/seem to flow and also serve for function/purchase. 👍
I went with wide cut FCS on my last build,
been pondering a commander build and would/will definitely add them for it.

I’d do that build if I could only get the mk23 out of my head.

 

I'm no fan of the FCS, I think the carry cuts look much better.
