I’ve switched entirely to TechWell G10 FAT grips, no issues with clearances with extended thumb safeties.

 

I have had good luck with Stonercnc.com. They even know the difference in Para and RIA double stacks.

 

They have some nice looking stuff. I prefer grips that shroud the plunger tube, though.

I had them make these for my Airweight (642-2):

 

I like VZ grips better then any other G10 grips. I just take a small needle file to it then clean it up with 600, 1000 and 2000 grit sandpaper. I wasn't blown away by the couple of pairs of Stoner grips I had. I am disappointed VZ no longer has fully checkered grips on their website, however.
