I posted a thread alittle while back about one of my favorite woods, Desert Ironwood. The thread had a fair amount of engagement and feedback so I figured I would create another thread for a wood type that is quickly growing on me, Gaboon Ebony. Here are all of the Gaboon shoes I currently have, presented to you in terrible basement fluorescent light fashion. Let’s also see what Gaboon you guys have!

1. Cherokee Hills Celtic Shield Knot/Sword:

2.) WoodCaliber double diamond checkered gaboon with NHC medallions:

3.) these are black and white Ebony but close enough and absolutely stunning. Cherokee Hills Wilder #1 special:

they are definitely more aggressive than most other makers I own or have owned. I personally like it but others should take this into consideration when ordering.

Love Ebony wood. I have a pair of silver & black Sig medallions looking for a home. Thinking on a set from LS grips for the wifes STX. Looking at these with the full magwell cut. Nothing like goin after your brand new grips with a 15 mm forstner bit lol
