Has anyone used any parts made or sold by Klonimus?

I have not heard of the name, but he has some parts for sale on eBay. Have no idea
of the quality of the parts. Just wondering.

Received the Klonimus aluminum alloy MSH in the mail today. It installed easily with no filing required. Compared it to the S&A that I had in the gun, and a new Wilson. Bought the Wilson thinking it was checkered 20 LPI, but I was wrong. Looks like 30 LPI. So when I saw the Klonimus listed at 20 LPI, complete with 23 LB. spring, pin, plunger and the other part which I can't recall the name right now, I thought it was worth a try. Looks to be made close to the same quality as the wilson, and far better than the S&A. The one drawback is the bottom edge is very sharp, where the Wilson has a beveled edge. If I find this uncomfortable to shoot, I may have to change to the Wilson. The first and third pics are the Klonimus next to the Wilson. The middle pic is the Klonimus next to the S&A. So the bottom line is, the part is exactly as advertised, fit the gun perfectly, but not quite as refined as the Wilson.

I have bought a LOT of stuff from them. Slide parts (extractors, firing pin kits... spring, pin, and stop) bushings and frame parts of all sorts over a few years and never had a problem with fitment or wear. I don't build carry guns so the bet your life issue won't happen. For anyone building their own carry gun they have issues to defend in court I think.

Hi,
For the OP, here are some pics of a Klonimus 1911 disconnector I used on my last Commander build.

You can see the part lines, but it polished well and fit and operated no problems.

The pistol has now had over 600 rds. through it with not one FTF OR FTE.

Time will tell?
