You already have one of the best 2011s to carry; your Artemis. But, if you want a lighter weight 2011 which still shoots really well, look into the Staccato Limited Edition guns.

I chose the 2022 Limited Edition which offers additional options on top of a base C2. See copy/paste below for specifics (Google):

Id either wait for the c, or buy a 2011 and put a carry grip on it. There are a couple models either the cheely carry grip, 120mm vip grip or the Gen 2 ods grip.
I’m 5’11 200lbs and find carrying anything with a magwell to be a chore. Sure you can conceal it easily with a flannel during the summer or a jacket during the winter which I do. But during the summer I wear mostly t-shirts so a smaller grip with no magwell is the better option

Good callout here. I am 6’ and about 185lb. I carry AIWB and can conceal with a T-shirt.
@Buccaneer12 and @steelbahamut also carry fighting guns AIWB and have posted great videos of their concealment with T-shirt as well as presentation. @steelbahamut does it with his exceptional Infinity.

Note: No need to debate AIWB here. It’s just the context for concealing a full size fighting gun w/T-shirt.

The Ares is a fantastic carry pistol. With the ports it's not snappy at all.

I've had mine for a year and a half and it is head and shoulders above any other carry pistol that I've had.

Good luck with your search.

I just picked up an Ares 4.25 ported and it has almost no recoil or muzzle flip with the ports. Shot it with the RDS plate sight which was not ideal because I did not have my dot yet. But now I got an SRO and will try it out Friday. It is amazing how well it shoots with the ports For such a small gun.
