Are you a giant in bell bottoms?

Haven't done it so I can't say with certainty, and everyone's different, but as a revolver guy who carries them in different sizes regularly, I strongly suspect that specific set-up will be cumbersome at best.

 

I found a galco for my 365. Used on ebay for 1/2 price. Grabbed it

probably a more realistic choice for ankle carry

I wear tight pants for the ladies. So I’m not sure any will conceal. It’s for a class I’m taking. Teacher carry’s 2-3 guns. He’s encouraging a backup.

 

ankle carrying a 3” k6 would be terribly uncomfortable. It’s kinda heavy for that, at least for me, but I can’t even ankle carry a med kit made for the ankle.

 

A 642 would be easier for your stated purpose.
K6 while lightweight, is heavy for that application.

 

Galco with the Velcro attachment is the answer for ankle holsters it might be but I think that Kimber is going to be too big

 

Find a lighter snubby, like a scandium S&W. The Kimber is too heavy and bulky. When I ankle carry i use a Renegade Cozy Partner, it's comfortable and secure. I think Wilderness Tactical is making a version of it now.

 

Low, slow on the concealed carry list. Was chasing a perp on foot along with a "Large" Detective. He couldn't have kept up in any case, but his J frame backup came out of his ankle holster. He stopped to look for it, so when I caught the guy it was one on one. It all worked out. The closest I have come to ankle holster is a boot knife. That works.

 

Get a SMITH &WESSON CSX. I have 2 of them I like em so much and 9mm power and 10 shot or 12 shot mags +1
100% reliable!

 

I have a three inch. Interesting rig, the trigger reminds of a two stage military rifle. I put Hogues on mine and it tamed the beast. A bit anyway.
