Just seen something that they might be coming out with an enclosed model with RMR footprint

Top load battery, mounts to the RMR footprint. Buying Chinese worked, Trijicon is finally coming out to play. A little concerned with how high the deck height appears to be but I’ll reserve judgment for when we have a real press release from them.

Also interesting that this comes only a few days after the leak of the supposed type 3 RMR.

Interesting, Trijicon already has a landing page prepared for the product, but if you click it, it’s blank. Hoping to get some specs from the horse’s mouth soon.

I wouldn’t expect anything new tomorrow, the type 3, or what I’m now seeing is called the RMR HD, was leaked probably a week ago now, and still no word from Trijicon confirming.

Late to the party… Nothing ground breaking…

Cool to have options but man, triji slept a little too long! Will probably cost much more than comparible dots with same (or more) features and same durability.

They’ll hope to win over the “but it’s made in the USA” crowd.

I’m sure I’ll end up with one, or both just out of curiosity and to get spun up on new dots on the market.

RMRs are still more costly than what I would consider better options out there with batteries that are easier to gain access to.

But, competition is good, and keep innovation going.

Im excited about the RCR. Curious if they will
improve the emitter or offer the hd reticule.

I've heard release could be as early as first week of August. There may be someone looking for a new fiscal year solicitation they want to compete for, so I wouldnt be surprised if it comes before SHOT. be curious to see when they roll it out. Shot seems to track most industry 🤞

Up on trijicons website. Oooof those prices.

They almost had me, right up until I got to the price.

That's 4 Holosun 407C's which have basically the same feature set.

I actually think they got a lot of things right with these two, but it looks like $849 is where I draw the line on a pistol red dot.
the recoilweb article argues that they should be “600s street price” which places it above the acro. My guess is they’ll get the initial hype beast Instagram and brand loyal crowd then have to dump the price.
