Opinions about Georgia Arms Ammo?

Any of you addicts use/buy Georgia Arms Ammo? If so, what do you buy and what are your opinions about it?

Good 38 Super defensive ammo is kind of hard to find, expensive, and not too many choices (unless you reload of course). So at Georgia Arms Ammo, I just ordered 1000 rounds of it (20-50 round bags) loaded with 124 grain Speer bonded "Unicore" HP bullets in brass cases. I believe that bullet is known as the "Gold Dot Bullet", the same as loaded in the Gold Dot Law Enforcement only ammo in 9mm.

They list it for $26.00 for a 50 round bag and I'm not sure what shipping is. But I live in Texas and 1000 rounds of it was $510.00 - No tax - and Free shipping. It's also listed at 1350 fps velocity, not the best but not shabby.

So what do you girls think, yes or no - good ammo or not good? Thanks for any comments or opinions.

I came into a stash of this exact ammo a couple weeks ago. Ended up buying eleven bags of it along with the Wilson Combat CQB the deceased owner's widow was selling off.
I got out today to test some of it through my WC ULCC. I was using two WC compact magazines. When I attempted to chamber the first round by pressing the slide release the round failed to chamber. I pulled the slide to the rear and released it, and it then closed. The pistol threw the ejected cases about twenty feet. Recoil was not at all excessive, and the ammo hit where it was aimed. I continued having problems with rounds jamming about half way in the chamber, and continued to pull the slide to rear then it would chamber the round when I'd release it. Both magazines gave the same result.
My carry load for this pistol is a hand load of 7.0 grains of unique under a 124 grain Hornady XTP bullet, seated to 1.270. The gun has never malfunctioned with this load using the same WC magazines. I will be testing this GA ammo further using some different mags and a couple different pistols. I do know that so far my ULCC does not like this ammo. Lukily I only paid $17.00 per bag of 50 for it.

I know the owner personally and he is a great guy. They stand by their ammo. If any of you ever have an issue let me know.
