I got the SA RMR optics plate in the mail today for my 1911 DS Prodigy. I went to install it and this as far down as it goes. I used my digital calipers and found that the RMR plate is .010-.015 longer than the factory non optics plate. Instead of sending it back to SA, I have access to a Bridgeport so I could easily mill the end of the plate. Thoughts?
