I would like recommendations for a 1911 OWB and IWB magazine carrier for under $100. Specifically, one that carries 2 magazines. Leather or kydex.

I no longer use dual holders because they create too much of a "block" that can be seen under a shirt. I like two singles since they will curve with the body and print less.

I like using JM Custom Kydex AIWB holders for up front carry. For behind the hip, I use the Milt Sparks IPS. I'm still looking for an IWB holder that keeps the magazine low.

I dress for what I'm carrying. My El Paso rarely shows

Could you post a pic of what you got? Thanks.
The left side are the ones I usually use. The top one has a bear with a B for the maker. My favorite due to adjustability in placement.
Not sure about the middle one, but it's nice, by far the hardest to get on because I like a belt loop between the straps.
Bottom is by Front Line Holsters, it's nice. Their holsters are as well.

On the right, I don't remember the to two. The bottom is Desantis

As far as IWB goes, my personal favorite is the Milt Sparks IPD. It is low-profile leather that positions the magazines “spine to spine,” if you will, to keep the whole package as trim as it can.

This orientation of the mags goes against the grain of most pouches that will position both magazines “bullets-forward.” The trade-off is the compactness and concealment gained. The IPD puts both magazines high and close on the belt. I wear mine quite far back on the belt, basically at 4 o’clock or a little further. I can conceal the IPD as well as an IWB-holstered 1911 under the right t-shirt or untucked polo if I want.

As with most things, repeated practice with the pouch both at home and at the range helps.

It works very well for me - as always, your mileage may vary.

If I’m not wearing an IPD, I often carry just a single OWB magazine pouch or even a horizontal carrier from Magholder LLC.

Pics of the IPD below.
