An all metal version of the very cool Strike One pistol, along with a greatly enhanced 2.5lb trigger, so what's not to love?

I love the design and the bore axis was the lowest of any semi auto pistol in the world in 2014 when it debuted. It still has the lowest bore axis of any locked breech semi auto that I know of. Its awesome the best striker fired trigger I've ever owned.

The Ergal, with its very high quality construction and materials used turn a very good pistol into an absolutely exceptional pistol.

The design is Russian, but its manufactured in Italy...MSRP $2200

With my Salient Strike One...

Your macro photos always give great detail and show the high level of machining/gunsmithing that go into to the unique features of your pistols.

Has that micro stamp been stippled over or is that some sort of proof mark/logo pictured under the “Italy 2022”?

Best striker trigger and lowest bore axis has to make for one nice shooter.

I’ve never fired a metal framed striker gun, all polymer frames. I seem to prefer the rougher stippling on grip surfaces of polymer frames to the stippling/checkering and various texturing of metal frames/grip combos of the non-polymer guns I’ve fired/handled. However I prefer the look and weight of metal frames.

Looks as though the Strike One has some great stippling for gripping, but I like the aesthetics of the Ergal. I especially like the very subtle rail on the Ergal. I wish someone could make a 1911 rail look that good.

I have the Salient Arms tier one and love it. I use it in completion because of the almost non existent muzzle rise and the trigger. The gun is fast and super accurate. I was surprised to see the Ergal as I thought they weren't importing anymore Now I want one. Question is, which one do you like better. The Ergal with the tier ones trigger seems to be hard to beat. The additional weight has to help. What are your thoughts??

Ergal is much better. Not only does it use the Salient trigger, but it’s a pound lighter from the factory. It’s the best striker trigger I’ve ever felt.

The Ergal’s metal frame gives it stability and just more of a general presence if that makes any sense. Metal makes a difference.

It’s only a couple hundred more than the Salient model and totally worth it.

This is the importer, though I don’t know that he has more of them at the moment, at least in black.

I got mine $2000 OTD. My dealer ordered it for me, so he must have gotten it for even less than that.

The TSO has a better trigger, but it’s apples and oranges, being the Ergal is a striker. The Ergal definitely has a considerably lower bore axis and I love the way it points. Plus the TSO is dime a dozen by comparison.
