H&K had the first gun built and delivered with the same extractor when customers when customers quickly found out that the centerfire extractor did not work well with the rimfire barrel. H&K came up with a dedicated .22 l.r extractor.
The HK 4 in .22 l.r. still has a bad rep among shooters and the .380 ACP is a little hard on the gun, this will not make it the most desirable combo but in 95+% with the box and papers it is still a great collectible that will get anywhere from $1,100 up.
