There have been a few attempts to lower the bore axis on revolvers. Check out the various Mateba models.

So the cylinder gap is right above your hand? How is that a good idea? Aren’t you guaranteed to get burned?

From the renderings, it looks like the cylinder is totally enclosed in the frame. No exposed gap.

Isn’t that just the ugliest thing I’ve seen in a long time. Can’t the blast coming out around the cylinder be a bit dangerous? Seems worse to have right next to your hand.

I have to say, "interesting" isn't the first word that comes to mind when looking at that thing.

 

It's not too late to delete this. Jesus that thing is ugly.

 

 

Still impractical, I get trying out new ideas but that is a piss poor design as far as I'm concerned. I still think who ever designed that was on crack.

 

I sort of want one to try out.
It might even be fun to shoot.
I've wasted money on other frivolous necessities in the past!

 

I'm really curious how the trigger operates whatever it is that's gonna hit the primer.
