Colt Custom Shop M45A1 O1070RGZ 'Brushed Stainless Steel' - Can you tell me about this gun?

Today I ordered this gun. It is all stainless and comes in the Colt pelican case, 2 mags, Otis cleaning kit. Do any of you addicts have one & can tell me anything about it?
I have already the special edition model CSRG O1070RGZ and know the specs will differ. I was going to buy another custom maker 1911 but the price was right and I couldn't pass it up.

I'm interested in what custom work may have been done on this model. I couldn't see a CCS smith stamp on the trigger guard. That was one concern. Should have it in hand by next week.
There isn't info on Colts website about this gun.

Thanks!

It's basically an un-ionbonded M45A1, or Colt Combat Unit. That's about it. The only special/custom thing about it was that it didn't go through the normal IonBond process...they just polished the slide flats, bead blasted the rounds, and there you go...same stainless finish as the rest of Colt's stainless lineup basically.

@Evil_Ed
I'm a long time member on few other forums. My main interests are Colts modern offerings including their black rifles.

I'm liking all the boutique 1911 semi-custom makers too and can appreciate the fine craftsmanship. I really respect and value the master craftsman who has the ability to create a full custom in house. Alchemy Customs has a fine touch & I can see it in the lines and detail. Nighthawk and GI are some of the best made guns ever. I like them all.

The M45A1 will be delivered today (next day, & fastest I've ever had a gun shipped). I could have it later today in my hand only if my dealer will be ready to do the transfer.

Here it is:
The O1070RGZ Government Model with Rail 'Brushed STS Slide' is here! Everything looks good, has the shipper Colt box labeled, green pelican case, Otis cleaning kit, 2 Wilson mags, test target 5/21, laser markings on slide are straight.
CCS #5 marked, I haven't racked the slide :unsure: hmm. I'm going to hold this one, but shoot the CSRG :ROFLMAO:

That’s a very nice looking Colt. I have an ionbond M45A1 from the CCS, with green Pelican box, etc. I didn’t like the OEM Novacks do I switched with hi-viz orange Trijicons.
The SS M45A1 looks a little like my Colt Custom Competition Limited.

Would almost definitely not be an issued pistol. The M45A1’s all had the U.S. marking on the frame. The only truly military issued M45A1’s in the wild are the original ceracote guns that were returned by the USMC to Colt in exchange for Ion bond due to excessive finish wear. There are a few out there. As I recall they come with a letter of provenance indicating they were originally USMC property. They are very expensive.

Yes, considering availability & current market my cost was a bargain. I did notice the retail was changed to higher price right after my purchase. I got in right on time it seems.

I also noticed there are availible versions of the M45A1 in all black, I can't confirm but think might be finished in black Ceracote.

Eta: I've seen a couple auctions bidding close at over $4.5k for the CCS M45A1 (in ionbond with an added magwell, strong side safety) or CCS O1070RGZ 'special edition'. Crazy.
