Seen a few holster reviews here the last few days and I just got a new holster in - so I figured what the heck! Gonna share some photos and info with y'all on my experience with G-Code's Incog Holster.

G-Codes holsters are top notch in quality. No sharp edges, the clips are rugged, and it's molded to your gun very well. If you like AIWB then I strongly suggest you try an Incog holster. Only downfall is the wait times, 6-8 week lead time. Unless you want a holster for a Glock - then they may have some in-stock items.

One thing that I learned after ordering a new Incog for my NHC Bob Marvel is this:
*** The Railed 4" 1911 holster will also fit a 4.25" non-Railed 1911 (perfectly)!

So I didn't really even need to order a new holster! That's something I wish I would have known before placing my order but I didn't even bother to check... recently I hit the range and figured this out but I was already several weeks into my wait.

- The Camo version is holding my 4.25" Bob Marvel and is rocking their Super Mojo with one clip.
- The black version is holding my Wilson Combat Hero911 Protector with rail and is rocking the standard mojo clip and a mag caddy.

Also some FYI, if you have 4.25" Commander models, they do not offer a 4.25" holster for 1911's. They do offer a 4" 1911 version. I sent an email shortly after my order asking them to leave some extra material at the bottom of the holster, not sure if they did but a quick comparison shows they may have.

Here is my 4.25" Bob Marvel in their 4" 1911 Railed holster.

And here is the 4.25" Bob Marvel in their 4" non-Railed Holster.

Thats it for now folks...

G-Code makes great holsters and other products. I have quite a few of their products, ranging from RTI holsters, mounts, soft scorpions etc...unfortunately have never had the opportunity to try their incog. Main thing keeping me is not having the claw or wing if you will, which helps conceal better IMHO while AIWB.

I hear you about the wings. I haven't tried a holster with the wing before, I have tried a wedge.

G-Code uses an angled clip that pushes against your belt to help bring the holster closer to your body. I think the clip design is great and does aid in concealing the pistol much like the wings found on other holsters - without adding any width to the holster.

I almost feel like they have too many options. As far as mounting hardware goes, lots of options but no pictures of how things really look or sit in the body. Would be nice for them to put up more pictures and videos of all their products, and the different mounting options.

I'll work with it tonight and find out for sure. I'll try to adjust the clip height and move things around to see if it's comfortable.

But I don't think that the side to side play as far as the clip holes would be enough to get the cant that youre wanting. It would have to come from adjusting the clip height position.

You adjust them by moving the clip on the "mojo". I have had these for years and love them. While stationed in Camp Lejeune I was able to go by the shop and they made me a holster for a M&P with a X300, this was long before they offered light bearing holsters. Jesse there is great, however once they won the contract with the Army the wait got longer and that was after moving into a much bigger shop. I just received one for a M&P with an Enforce light and it's great as well.

I'm probably going to put the new Camo Incog in the classifieds soon. PM me if you are interested, I'll get it shipped out to you for cost which was 10 or 15 percent off... And you won't have the 6-8 week lead time ;)

Looking at moving it because I found out that my first Incog, even though it's a Railed model holster - it also fits a non-Railed commander perfectly. So instead of keeping a non-Railed holster around, I'm gonna place an order for an Incog molded for a 4" 1911 with Rail and TLR3.

How well do the clips do with keeping the gun close to the body? The JM has the neoprene wedge that I have to use when wearing a T Shirt to really push the butt end of the gun into my body to prevent printing. Otherwise I leave it off....I'm sure I'll find out eventually first hand, just trying to gauge the angled clips effectiveness.

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing and nice review and pics. I've got some G-Code gear and it is all top notch from their Incog to their soft goods to their Scorpion soft shell mag carriers. I've been pleased with all of it.
