Seen a few holster reviews here the last few days and I just got a new holster in - so I figured what the heck! Gonna share some photos and info with y'all on my experience with G-Code's Incog Holster.
G-Codes holsters are top notch in quality. No sharp edges, the clips are rugged, and it's molded to your gun very well. If you like AIWB then I strongly suggest you try an Incog holster. Only downfall is the wait times, 6-8 week lead time. Unless you want a holster for a Glock - then they may have some in-stock items.
One thing that I learned after ordering a new Incog for my NHC Bob Marvel is this:
*** The Railed 4" 1911 holster will also fit a 4.25" non-Railed 1911 (perfectly)!
So I didn't really even need to order a new holster! That's something I wish I would have known before placing my order but I didn't even bother to check... recently I hit the range and figured this out but I was already several weeks into my wait.
- The Camo version is holding my 4.25" Bob Marvel and is rocking their Super Mojo with one clip.
- The black version is holding my Wilson Combat Hero911 Protector with rail and is rocking the standard mojo clip and a mag caddy.
Also some FYI, if you have 4.25" Commander models, they do not offer a 4.25" holster for 1911's. They do offer a 4" 1911 version. I sent an email shortly after my order asking them to leave some extra material at the bottom of the holster, not sure if they did but a quick comparison shows they may have.
Here is my 4.25" Bob Marvel in their 4" 1911 Railed holster.
And here is the 4.25" Bob Marvel in their 4" non-Railed Holster.
Thats it for now folks...
