My Delta Point Pro is scheduled to be here tomorrow. Looking forward to getting it mounted and putting some rounds through this gun. I have heard how the DPP is really tall and you need extra high sights, but it looks like there is still enough to be usable, but not take up so much of the window like a lot of irons do.

Couldn't wait for the sight and had to go to the range to function test another gun, so put 100rds through it. Ran smooth and zero malfunctions using Glock, ETS, and Magpul mags. Shot a little high for me with the irons. Not as soft shooting as my X5 Legion was, but I think a lighter recoil spring may help. Grip could be a little more grippy, but some Talon grips may help. So far, I am more than happy with it.

Awesome, I am going to put 150 rounds or so through mine. What grain of 9mm was you shooting?

Just got back from the range after shooting almost 200 rounds. I felt like I was chasing the DPP to get it sighted in for some reason. After finally getting it sighted in I shot some steel and was very happy with the performance. Only thing I do not like about it is the area around the safety starts to pinch your hand. TheHumbleMarksman had the same issue when I watched his review. It felt like it had a bit more recoil compared to some of my other 9mm pistols which was surprising. Adjusting spring rates or going with a different brand of ammo should help with that. I also had 1 of my 5 pmags not lock back when empty for some reason which I am sure was a mag issue.

I had a lot of fun shooting steel with it though so I might go back tomorrow.

I was shooting it enough to get the whole gun pretty warm and I just noticed the guide rod was loose when I got home. I am not a fan of the 2 piece guide rod and would like to do something about that.

Only advantage of the 2 piece over the 1 as far as I know is the 2 piece is easier to disassemble but they always end up coming loose while shooting.
That just don't sound like much of an advantage overall. Hmm, if I need to send it off for a blended thumb safety, front sight changed to night sights, and at least a slide refinish, it might get cost prohibitive. Unless they cut you a break for shipping in the white. I do love the Glock mag...

Many people had no issues with the few things that bothered me. Stealth Arms said I was only the third person to say something about the ledge on the frame under the thumb safety. I did not even notice it though till about 150 rounds and that was after some rapid fire. I brought them up to SA though because I think if they do fix these things it makes for a better product that more people will enjoy. This is a new design for them that just came out after shot show to my knowledge so I am sure they are listening to feedback and seeing how they can make the design even better.

I've seen several suggestions that the safety area be de-horned... seems like it ought to be a simple reprogramming of the CNC machine program (assuming it's CNC).

Have also seen comments that the grip could be "grippier."

Fix those two things and I could be a switcher from Staccato to Platypus.

The only issue with the safety area is that the trigger channel is right below it and not much metal left to round that off. I think they can figure something out though and hopefully offer the change to the first adopters. Would be interesting if they offered a version with a polymer grip module as well.

The asthetics of that are very nice. I like it. Do give us a range report.
That’s interesting!
I’ve never heard of the Platypus (well, not the pistol).
I’ve been very slow to warm up to the double stack 1911s but they are definitely growing on me.
Dang, I might have to order one. That seems like a great deal, now I just need to figure out what I want haha

Not my cup of tea as I am more a traditionalist, but very interesting. If it shoots well then you have a winner

They use Novak sights so you can install your own sight
