Like my usual trip through Columbus, OH, I always have to stop by Vance's and usually end up finding something. Well today i look and they had plenty of Baers Browns, Wilsons, Kimber's, and Springfields. They also had a few Centennials in there from Colt, Kimber, Remingtion and Brown. To my surprise, they had SR1911's, and I asked Jim how many he had. He told my that they just received a bunch of them and that they have a Ruger event coming up. So if you are looking for a SR1911, they have plenty of them for $699.
So remember how I said i usually find something? I see this old school IPSC gun, and i notice the name that was associated with it. Yep it was Steve Nastoff. This was an IPSC gun built by Steve using an older Colt Combat Elite. So no need on guessing what was going to happen. I put it on layaway because i didn't want to use all my funds up, since i am going to stop by Bud's and Jetguns next week.
Here's an old school IPSC gun in .45ACP. I have no real need for it, but I wanted it for the simple fact that it was built by Nastoff.
So if you're looking for a SR1911, give Vance's a call @ 614-471-7000 and see if Jim is there (though anyone else can help you)
I also told Jim about this site, so he may show up too since he's a 1911 guy

BTW, this is the same shop where i found my SA Professional Operator
