I'm in the minority I guess. I clean it almost every time after a range visit. I also enjoy cleaning my guns, it's relaxing.....dunno could just be me
As a new member to the gun owning club I am lubing my pistols about after every other trip to the range at this point. Ditto for my AR-15. Maybe after 200 rounds each. I'm still on the learning curve for handguns but I have learned that keeping them clean and lubed is a good habit to pick up. Like yourself I enjoy the process. It has become much like a ritual now for me. Happy Shooting!

It depends on the gun and how busy I am to be honest. If it’s a Glock I’m less likely to clean it after every use…but after two weeks or so I’ll clean it. If it’s a 1911 I generally will clean it after every use. Shotguns maybe once a year lol. Rifles about the same as glocks. Revolvers I’ll clean after every use also. Whatever my main carry is is always going to be cleaned after every use also.

I usually clean after every range trip, more out of habit than necessity. My EDC definitely gets cleaned right away since I want it 100% reliable. Range toys I sometimes let go a few sessions if I know I’ll be back out soon. Just depends on the gun and what I was shooting through it.
