Hey all,
I love the look of Ivory, but my bank account doesn't love the cost of it. What material do you think makes the best looking imitation Ivory grips? I'd like to get a set and have a set of silver COLT medallions (or those state of Texas Stars) inlaid in them to further personalize them. I just don't know what material, or what maker offers the closest look to natural ivory.
I think I would prefer the yellowish aged look rather than the whiter look. What do you think looks best, the yellow or cream color in these faux ivory grips?
If you have some faux ivory grips on your 1911, how about posting some pics? I'd like to see what the great looking ones look like with the materials that are available to makers today.
Thank you for your time and any help you care to give me.
Larry
